| you walk into a large, whitewash stable. it has an wide aisle leading down a row of roomy box stalls. the room nearest you is visibly not a stall, for as you peer inside you see tack, and large bins of feed on the left wall. looking around more, you see the slight figure of a young woman emerge from within an empty stall behind you. she waves, grinning madly. "Hi! I'm Lee, short for Liana. How are you?" you smile, somewhat shy but out of politeness you force yourself to answer instead of running and hiding in the feed bins. "Um.. I'm [insert name here], I'm fine, you?" she still grins, bright white teeth shining. "I'm fine, welcome to Yucca Meadows. You lucky dog have stumbled upon our Vaale stables. I take care of the Shadow Vaale with the help of a few hands. Although lots a� people think these guys are all evil and mean, they're not that bad, once you get to know 'em. Mainly it's just a whole lot of ignorance on the public's part, the Shadows are really just mischievous." she motions to the rows of neatly kept stalls. rich auburn hair is pulled back into a loose, messy ponytail with a navy blue holder. pale grey eyes peer out at you under a mess of wavy bangs. "You can go ahead and take a look at our residents, just make sure that you don't get too near the stalls with bars on them. They've got the meanest critters you can think of in them.. But most of those particular few have a close companion or two. I've gotta' get back to my work, so see you around!" she waves, smiling as always. you wave back, somewhat glad to leave the awkward conversation be. looking down the row of stalls you grin, always one to love looking at Vaale. the residents of this particular barn have large, attentive ears, bat-like wings, and are of a mainly dark, dull colors, though a few are lighter, and even others have fairly bright colors. you see only a few with the bars on them, and remember to make a point of giving those stalls a fairly large berth. sorry, currently we do not have any Shadow Vaale, but keep posted because we hope to get a handful soon.  back |
