Belinda's Dream

Shrub 3' x 4'

'Jersey Beauty' x 'Tiffany'

3-4" very double medium pink blooms with moderate fruity fragrance.

This rose is a great choice for its low maintenance qualities. No fussing over it or constant spraying! Medium, clear pink buds open to fully double flowers. Fragrance is moderate, and blooms are produced throughout the entire growing season.

This shrub rose really has it all. It has proven winter hardy without protection in my zone 5 garden. It is a vigorous grower with an abundance of medium sized pink blooms. Blooms are in small clusters or a few singles. Fragrance is moderate with sweet, fruity tones. Blooms can look old fashioned as some are just packed with petals. Growth habit is more bushy than upright which makes it a good landscape choice. No "naked" feet like some of the V-shaped hybrid teas. No disease problems ever observed with little or no spraying.

"Belinda's Dream" makes a nice cut flower. It lasts well in the vase and the blooms are so abundant that you have a fairly constant supply. This rose comes from a breeding program aimed at producing thornless and blackspot resistant roses. While this rose does have thorns, it certainly meets the mark of blackspot resistance in my garden. Recommended for everyone due to its health, hardiness, and beauty.
