Please keep in mind that this is an experimental project. Its prime aim is to have fun and enjoyment creatively writing original stories with member/contributors being fired up by what has been written previously on this site in various categories or, established new categories. As it is a new cooperative venture, the rules therefore are open to change or modification depending on the members wishes. |

who are the "cyber authors" |
|
|
|
Cyber authors are a small group of cyber friends who like to write and are experimenting with co-joint writing. Initially it arose from an idea put forward on a chat line group in Gaycom "Intellectuals Room". |

The aim of "cyber authors" group |
|
|
|
This is an experimental site for creative fun and enjoyment for those writers and aspiring writers who would like to get a creative buzz out of playing a sort of improvisiation theatre utilizing writing as a medium. The site is primarily a co-joint effort at writing.
The idea is that a member shall write one or two opening paragraphs of a story any other member shall then, if they wish, add their written additions to the story . Any member may commence a story destined for co-joint writing by various members. No member shall alter anything written previously by another member. Any member may however email other members suggesting an amendment. Remember the prime objective is a co-joint effort at writing..
With goodwill, humour and creativity we will endeavour to create worthwhile stories of all genre. All contributions MUST BE original writings created by the contributing member/s. No plagarism is permissable. No member may alter the writings of a previous member, but may email him suggesting alteration. |

How is membership determined |
|
|
|
Membership is open to anyone who is enjoys experimentation, fun and getting a creative buzz from triggers submitted by other members. New members must be approved by ALL existing members. Likewise members may be deleted if ALL other members agree to that members unsuitability, for what ever reason is deemed sufficient. No discussion or correspondence about exclusion of potential members will be entered into. |

While the main aim is for members of this group to have fun and enjoyment, matters of copyright may arise at a later stage therefore, until more formal copyright rules are agreed to byALL contributing members, copyright for all material appearing on this site shall be accorded to each contributing member for the parts he/she contributes and, for the writings overall, (encompassing other members contributions) copyright shall reside with ALL member contributing.
Any decision to publish elsewhere any complete story or set of writings shall reside with ALL members at the time that publishing elsewhere is contemplated. All members must agree to such contemplated publishing of completed works shown on this site before anything may be published elsewhere. All members constitues 100% agreement by ALL members. |

For this initial experimentation site, membership is anticipated to be limited so that some element of management may prevail while all the details of how it works is determined by existing members. However please do not be detered from applying.... send an email to [email protected] with your request to join the group, your reasons for wanting to join and your agreement to accept fully the rules established by the existing members. |

How the co-joint writing
of stories operates |
|
|
|
The initial idea (which may change depending on members wishes) is that there shall be several genres of writings; serious, gay, humorous, witty, romantic, raunchy etc etc. (the list may be endless).
Any member may commence a story by writing on this site a starting paragraph or two. Any other member may subsequently add to those initial paragraphs, but keeping where possible to the forgoing written characterisation/plot without limiting their creative writing abilities. If it helps a contributing writer may set up an initial personality for a chracter - tho this should not inhibit other writers from creatively interprating that particulat character or, introducing another character to the story.
The idea is to keep it as loose and free-flowing as possible - allowing the story, as it were, to have a "life" of its own. |

Legal restraints on any material appearing on "cyberauthors" |
|
|
|
Although the writings submitted to this site by members are not censored as regards style, storyline and general content, there is, for legal reasons some important restrictions applying to all members of "cyberauthors".
Namely, all members agree not to publish on this site any material that discriminates against individuals or organisations on the grounds of race, colour, ethnicity, religion or religious affiliation, gender, sexual preference and not to defame or impune a person's character or standing and not to promote, endorse or imply endorsement of sexual matters involving children/minors. |
