Participating in Tea Ceremony

At an open space Pitch up a tent Under the sunshine in spring Soft glittering in the evening sun He is making a tea Solemnly With well mannered Wearing formal kimono In a casual manner He stirs with a chasen This is a world of manner Following after a simple beauty He must be watchful to make a tea A man sits aside Speak in a quiet tone voice Something old-fashioned talking Nothing break the stillness around here The green tea was served for me How to drink tea? I have a coffee in a cafe all the time �s�����������I I am an amateur about tea ceremony I do not know such proper manner Anyhow it can't be help it Just have a green tea in my own style If everyone observe me How to have a tea With this form It can't be irresponsible Happily I have never such circumstance At that rate My uncouth act would not better

At Varanasi Walking a street in the town A throng with many people In a disorder atmosphere Rather far different culture Slip away from sightseeing route Jumping inside the common India None of sticking peddler in here Nobody follow about me Everything is infrequent Curious thing An irregular street Be intermingled with cattle The sanitation is poor in this area Gathering a point A dozen women wearing a sari They are doing something Looking through a crowd They are choosing a bracelet in a stall Look like a pleasure Off the sightseeing route The moment of touch in real India She put a ling in her arm Another woman advises her She hesitate over which to choose My eyes met a salesman At once I order the bracelet He picks out a ling Refused this, I asked to him A package of ling which is a dozen "How much?" �c"25 rupee" It is not so high price for me I paid the money and get a package Women around me let out a voice with wonder I slipped out around them

I regret having done What did I think of? Bracelet is not need for me If as a souvenir, I bring back in Japan Nobody wear such ling I was a brat Then and there Being well disposed I should to share with them

In this golden week

In this golden week, today is the children's day. It was opened the US base in Iwakuni for the general public as an established custom. No limitation to take a picture in the base where except for special zone. I have picked "Unknown America" so, then did go to see an air show viewing by US army. It is a good chance to get touch in a part of America. The Iwakuni base is located at 3 km far from Iwakuni local station. Many people comes and crowded so I walked to the base, It is good exercise for me. It is said the people �calmost Japanese �cgather over 120,000~130,000. In the US base, static display area, band performance area, police dog demonstration, as main is air show viewing and others. Inside is there is a runway, rather wide. We can't usually get to know how it works. I don't know how it is useful base on Far East own by a security pact after the cold war. But it was a nice about some air demonstrations. Blue impulse T-4 or F-15. Nice acrobatics flight! Five dog-fighters wrote down the letter "2000" on the vault of heaven! And a mark of the heart with an arrow! Amazing technique! This must be a world of the speed velocity of sound. Sometimes, it comes a trouble on a fly at a low altitude flight in Japan. Putting aside, I admired with they are highly disciplined. And today of all days, Japanese occupied US -Iwakuni base. Many johns were full by the people waiting for their turn, because they rather eat and drink much. The weather was fine and good day!

Movie "The siege"

A description of my impression "The siege" Big Apple�c.In New York The event that a bus is hijacked by an Arabian terrorist happens in Brooklyn. Denzel Washington negotiates with the terrorist and succeeds in making it take down women and children. Though together with a big explosion and suffer a large number of victims. Hate to the mean terrorism blaze up in his heart. Blast terrorism by the continuance begins to happen in each place in New York, and a citizen's worry reaches excessively. The President declared a state of emergency at last that national safety was looked for the public opinion, and military a commander Bruce Willis dispatch was requested. Marshal law is announced, and a helicopter flies in the sky, the crowd of the tank marches through the town together with the soldiers and goes. When it is suppression, Arabian citizen begins with the demonstration parade, the strain of a touch and go rules New York. Arabian citizen is detained in an asylum. It was like that since Japanese was put into custody in a camp, World War II. Against a fear of terrorism, it would come to this. Then it is not an explosion of dynamite, in case of using by nuclear weapon (Atomic Bomb). Denzel Washington negotiates with the terrorist is not there. So, this story which a simulation against terrorism is another story. This movie made me realized that how terror of nuclear weapon using by the terrorism. I pray it will be absolutely not come such a tragedy in this world.

At flower festival People enjoys this event for 3 days In the many attractions Each stages up their volume Playing the music Singing a song Some contests Fashion show Magic show Taiko drum show Kagura dance What with Parade For variety's sake This year I was charmed by A event of dance battle On the stage Look like as a narrow place Each group of youth Each design the dance They're own way of style With fashion Be brimful of youthful ardor Jump up and down along with A lilting tune A jaunty rhythm Never seen foot work and moving In that contender A girl of elementary school Cute and good dancing Is like a bird Impressive act There really seem Recent young generation Have a good ear for music! I go to a coffee shop where is downtown in Hiroshima City. Having a coffee, reading some newspapers and I am feeling comfortable while in here. This is a good moment time getting some news and ideas for me. I might be longing a waitress girl who serves to me a coffee. Uhhhhhm! Life is maybe not so bad things, don't you think so?

Rice Paddy (Long)

Japanese agriculture Now, come into the rice-planting season in Japan. Agriculture in Japan is different with America where has big area. Japan has a large population in its limited area. Japan is a small country that area is same as California in USA. Kingdom of Morocco is a little wider than Japan. The cultivated acreage is 3,970,000 ha that rate is 10.5%. There are many mountains in the country, so that we can't expect like a large-scale agriculture as America. Next to an introductory remark, the rice is the staple food. I am going to post on about Japanese rice paddy through the year around. There is a rice paddy that taking 30 minutes by my moped from my home. It is easy to go and take a picture. Not in all, but it is typical Japanese agriculture I think. It is now preparing with setting out rice plant. Drawing the water to the rice paddy. Do you think that the soil of the field and the rice field is the same? The rice field dug up when it was seen well though it had blackish dark brown is entirely different from the soil of the field by the gray which became black according to the soil of the field. The rice plant to grow in the rice paddy is the plant which much water should be necessary. Water comes and goes, and water is full in the rice field where rice planting was finished. The soil of the rice field touches water unlike the soil of the field where air always touches it. This is the main cause of the difference in the color of the soil of the field and the rice field. When the soil of the field touches air, the mineral which is the same as the brown iron rust is formed in the soil, and the color of the soil is made dark brown. On the other hand, because there are much compost and food such as the stump of the rice, the function of the bacteria becomes violent, and the inside of the soil of the rice field eats oxygen in the soil freely. When oxygen decreases, the color of the soil becomes gray, and it becomes blackish gray when humus is added to this. Because the person of the farmhouse puts water in the rice field before the rice planting and mixes water fully with the soil and he applies himself to soil-making. Does the American field of large-scale agriculture become a desert later on? When the people of American occupation forces see Japanese agriculture after the defeat, and it is said that it was surprised with it is like a kitchen garden, which is small of the scale. A tractor runs about in the vast land and it is cultivated, and a seed is sown by helicopter in the case of America. A large quantity of chemical fertilizer and agricultural chemicals whose scale that sprinkling by airplane, a harvest uses large combine too, that is a big-scale agriculture. It can get a large quantity of harvest by the small labor. But, this seemingly wonderful method was reckless that nature was ignored. If it runs about in the field, a big machine goes flat the soil in the weight. The gap which air and water, nutrition is stored in disappears, and the earthworm as well can't live. As a result, the soil of the field is very easy to dry, so that why have to sprinkle much water. When water is sown, chemical fertilizers collect at deeply under the soil. It is pulled up together with the salt in the ground by water, and this chemical fertilizer hardens in the field of the time when a crop isn't being planted on the surface of the field. When it is like this, not only a crop but also grass becomes the barren land that doesn't grow, and it must follow the way of the desertification. The world depend on America as a big food supplier, so that this is serious.
