Hello! My name is lizabeth. I am a language undergraduate student at Concordia University here in Montreal, (QUEBEC) Canada. I fluently speak French (of course, lol), English, Spanish, Italian, and look to improve my German. I am very interested and serious about poetry. My favorite of all is Pablo Neruda (1904-1973), the Chilean born poet who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971. I have studied his life and work as a part of my collegial program (I choose to do so my self). By that I mean that I have studied many books (autobiographic and reviews) of his life, his passion, and his work. My favorite collection of his is "Los Versos del Capitan" (Captain's verses). I also enjoy reading his patriotic poetry (Canto General).

Cendrilloner is founder of her own Yahoo! chat club for Pablo Neruda's Poetry Fans which she invites everyone to visit and join at: http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/pablonerudaspoetryfans

Time!

Time is too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is...
ETERNITY!

so Remember to cherish every single moment you have!

Our friendship!

I do believe that we are friends
Cause our relationship never bends
beyond the point that it could end
we gather to listen to our demands.

I really think that your are my pal
for I have travelled and still managed to call
Even though you never wrote me a letter at all
I did not hold you in grieve for you are a gal!

Beyond the distance, that keeps us apart
I will always keep you close to my heart
for our friendship is a precious art
That is by far superior to those who fart! (:-P stupid line)

[does anybody have an alternative that rimes and makes sense?]

And that is why my friend, you wear that name
for nothing can separate us from our game
the aguish or even the blame
could never tint the purety of our aim!

In thus we call our friendship's name!!

Mein herzilen... Grimreaper, The DarkLord of Evil

Through the dark valley of shadows
I encountered the King of evil.
I was lost, on the merge of something unknown,
When we met in the dark falling light of day.

You were quiet and mystical
I grew fearful yet anxious
To know more and penetrate
That dangerous, tempestuous, darkworld of yours.

With time, patience and slowly motions
I entered the valley of shadows
Dressed with my coat of light and joy
I gently tempered your anger and rage.

My darklord of shadows
You have many times slain me
But ever more persistent
I remained in your valley of death.

Time and selfless esteem has helped me
Creep into the fortress of evil.
Where I held vigil and watched patiently
How wounded and hurt the lord of shadows bled.

I stood beside him as an anonymous pacifier.
In good times deed, the Lord bestow on me
The non-fading art of friends' worship;
That nowadays grew fonder as we grew closer...
