The radiant gracious lord said: `King of the gods, your honor and god of the atmosphere, we are but mortal. Oh lord of the world, let you certainly pardon this deed of mine. And this the coral tree, lead it to a proper position. The taking of this by me mighty Indra is from the cause of true meaning, as is your holding the thunderbolt weapon and also your discharging it and as is your striking and piercing enemies. These things are to be worshiped mighty Indra.

Shakra said: `The lord bewilders me. Mortal in this manner, what can I say? We know you as the boundless enjoyment of the holy. That which is, you set in motion as the world lord, the standing possessor putting the thirty-three gods in order and you extract the tormenting thorns of the world. Carry off this, the parijat tree, Krishna of Dvaravati city. Delivered by you from the world of mortals, this will not stay on the earth.

Vyasa said: `In this manner, at the ordering of the celestial god of the atmosphere Indra, Krishna went to the earth being praised thus by the siddhas and gandharvas and singers. Dvijas! Then Krishna went and fortuitously laid hold of that best tree and abiding upon Dvarka blew a conch shell producing pleasure for those dwelling in Dvarka. He descended for the purpose by Garuda with the companion Satyabhama. The great coral tree was then established free from deceit at having been approached in great duty by the races of all castes. They remember of the ancestress` scenting of flowers that perfumed the wide earth for three yojanas. Consequently, all those Yadavas were as gods spreading odors to the races of men as the tree was seen as the acting agent and the principal sight by rakshasas arrived on horses and elephants. Consequently Krishna took possession of the wealth and women in the embrace of Naraka.

At acquiring a suitable time, Janardana took for himself those girls dwelling with Naraka who were brought together from every direction and thinking, `I alone am certainly Govindas. Best of the Dvijas! And in the course of time they became pure, laid hold of duly according to rule by the hand as was their own right, separately in body and in that manner exceeding 16 thousands of females, one hundred and one, so great were the multitude of shapes of the lord Madhusudana. One by one those girl women of Madhusudana thought: `Of me only certainly Govinda is the one who has done the marriage in this manner. Oh sages! Keshava, creator of the people dwells in the night in the their houses wearing the various forms of Hari.
