Untitled 9 ~ 12
Winter moon in twilight beckons
called to dance again
Blush wine swirls on lips that yearn
to find the kiss that seals it all
Desperate abandon, lavender snow
Sparkling crystal hearts will shatter
littering the already barren ground
with shards to pierce the unsuspecting
unwitting
innocent
Lonely Echoes laugh hollowly
spin and twirl
twirl and fall
Scarlet raindrops, my gift to you.
***********************************
Limitless possibilities
of the unspoken word
the glimmer in my eyes
reflects what is held
in my cynical heart
in my empty arms
silver tears
golden moonbeams
metallic cobwebs
bright white life
scars are flaring
warning
throbbing
as I throb
as I weep
as I yearn to know
as I cower.
***********************************
Phantom heartache
from a life passed by
heart thrown wide
in welcome
in surrender
tentative footsteps
ease the abrasions
ubiquitous indecision
glorious insecurity
these are mine to hold and to keep
fire and rose petals
a million dances
beneath star kissed heavens
painful beauty
and I am left more empty than before.
***********************************
Smoke rings and Icicles
drift within my vision
night voices calling
coaxing
whispering sweetly
meadow grass and decaying leaves
all the colours of the universe
streamline, blur
waver in the perfection
if only for a stolen moment
outside of time
outside of morals
outside of my will to control
my vice is your downfall.
And with this knowledge
I am free.
