NTFS

NO FILE LINKS WORK

  PART.zip

ntfs.zip

http://www.winunzip.com (Unzip program)

SP27213.zip

ntfsinst.zip

  1. Unzip SP27213.zip and ntfsinst.zip to a directory on your HDD
  2. Put floppy in drive, dbl click ntfsinst.exe. it will install a program to create a NTFS4DOS disk. That program will create a bootable floppy. Check all boxes.
  3. Leave floppy in drive
  4. Double click SP27213.EXE, it will install a HP USB Create Utility
  5. Run the HP Utility you just installed, Choose "FAT or FAT32" NOT NTFS. Check "Create Dos startup disk". In the "Get startup files from" box, type "A:"
  6. Click "Start". Click "OK" in any dialog boxes
  7. Unzip NTFS.zip directly to your USB device
  8. Done!
  9. When you boot with this, it will create MANY drives. One of them will be the main HDD. Use PART.EXE to partition the HDD, and make the partition bootable, even if it not drive1 (something you CANNOT do with FDISK!!)

This should boot most Computers, if they are USB boot capable. Contact your manufacturer if you can't boot this way.

Let me know if this works or not. Feedback not only appreciated,  it can help me improve this site.
