Ghost

NO FILE LINKS WORK

You MUST have your own working copy of Ghost!!!

http://www.winunzip.com (Unzip program)

SP27213.zip

win98se.zip

  1. Unzip SP27213.zip and win98se.zip to a directory on your HDD
  2. Put floppy in drive, dbl click win98se.exe. It will create a bootable floppy
  3. Leave floppy in drive
  4. Double click SP27213.EXE, it will install a HP USB Create Utility
  5. Run the HP Utility you just installed, Choose "FAT or FAT32", check "Create Dos startup disk".  In the "Get startup files from" box, type "A:"
  6. Click "Start". Click "OK" in any dialog boxes
  7. Start 'Ghost' and create you own startup disk
  8. Use the floppy that you made earlier, and have Ghost use that disk to load MS-DOS
  9. Create the floppy (floppies) that Ghost wants you to create.
  10. After Ghost has made the floppy (floppies), copy all files to the USB drive you created in step 5 (it's OK to overwrite files)
  11. Edit "Autoexec.bat" on USB drive. Remove all references that say "a:"
  12. Done!
  13. When you boot with this, it will start Ghost. For use of this program, consult the Ghost help file
This should boot most Computers, if they are USB boot capable. Contact your manufacturer if you can't boot this way.
Let me know if this works or not. Feedback not only appreciated,  it can help me improve this site.
