| RECREATIONAL AVALANCHE COURSES(RAC) | |||||||||||||||||

| At CWSNOWPRO/RAC Provider we offer an entry/intermidiate level winter,backcountry, avalanche training.You will need to attend a 4-6 hour classroom session,(manual extra charge) followed by 2 days in the field.Our emphasis is on you learning the correct methods of searching with the different types of electronic devices known as transcievers or beacons.We teach you what to look for while navigating in avalanche terrain avoiding avalanches.Using the different equipment that one carries in the backcountry, our instructors will pass on to you thier experiences and knowledge.We will actually dig into the snow and perfom tests that are used worldwide.
