Each saddle iis custom made to your specifications, and will feature the Gaited Equi-Fit performance tree with GAITED HORSE BARS, from the Steele Saddle Tree Company . This tree is made of fiberglass covered wood with performance horse bars specially designed for the gaited breeds. By changing the angle of the bars, and raising the gullet, this saddle is non-restrictive in the shoulder and neck area so that the horse can gait better. This gaited saddle is designed so that it won't pinch the withers or restrict movement and the higher gullet will not interfere with the natural nod, thereby eliminating soreness. The tree features a 5 year guarantee, and measurements are as follows;
swell 13 1/2", gullet 7 1/4", gaited horse bars, horn height 3 1/2", cantle height 4".. ****We also offer a wide tree style for an additional $75.****

All silver used is Montana Silver,. Each saddle features blevins buckles, stainless hardware., in skirt, double riggiing for free swinging stirrups, leather off billet and tie strap.
Each saddle is individually hand crafted and tooled by Dan Hostetler, an Amish saddlemaker who takes great pride in the quality and durability of his saddles. There is absolutely no machine stamping or assembly line process used for my gaited saddles.
The leather used is by Wickett and Craig, and you will love the quality. I will be glad to provide references if you are interested in contacting my customers.
All saddles feature your choice of the following for $695:
-round, square or endurance skirt(with or without horn)
-15,16 or 17"seat
-light oil, medium oil, mahagony, dark brown or black
-smooth or suede seat
-tooling pattern- basketweave, barbed wire, or edge design.

The skirt length on the gaited saddles varies from 25 to 28 inches (depending on the seat size, however this can be shortened by 1 to 1 1/2 inches for the short backed horse for no additional change
