The Ladies Auxilliary of the West River Fire Department plays a very
important role.  The ladies are tireless in their fund-raising efforts
to better the fire hall, as well as for the purchase of new or up-to-date
equipment for the firefighters.  The auxilliary hosts two major dinners
annually, as well as card parties the first Saturday of each month from
October to June.  They also cater to wedding receptions and other such
