Travel from Livingstone to Nkwali Camp

The day began at Thorntree Lodge and ended at Nkwali Camp (on the Luangwa River
south-west of Mfuwe - just west of Chipata) after dark.
We flew on a six seater to Lusaka and then a 16 seater plane to Mfuwe airport.
We were picked up by the RPS guide (Kiki) and driven to Nkwali Camp - seeing elephants,
a hyena and two female lions on the way.

Vaughan and Chris tightly packed in (Vaughan trying to understand the new 10x zoom digital camera he purchased just before leaving Australia)

Lusaka airport ... in no time

Safely onboard and ready to go. As we found out later, the person behind Vaughan was Dr Death (more on this nickname later) and the person behind Helen was Jo Pope (wife of Robin Pope - of Robin Pope Safaris).

A typical village on the way to Nkwali Camp from the airport

Thought I would throw in a classic car (1956 Ford V8 2-door hardtop - my next car if i can fit a hybrid in it)
