The
Art of War
A tribute
to wrestling's only true powerhouse
The Warlord

This page is dedicated to the Warlord, the most awesome
physical specimen to ever set foot in a wrestling ring, even though he
did enough steroids to make Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell blush. For the
early part of his career, he carried the Barbarian in a tag-team called
the Powers of Pain and they beat up the Road Warriors a few times when
that actually meant something. The Powers of Pain then moved on to the
WWF to challenge Demolition for the belts. After failing to win them, the
Warlord took on the Dr. of Style, Slick as his manager. Vince ignored the
fact that the Warlord had a huge Hogan-like following and never pushed
the man. The Warlord was in a car accident about 3 years ago and can't
move his neck very well, so he faded from the wrestling scene, but not
from the hearts of his true fans. But take
heart Warlord fans....THE WARLORD IS BACK!!! Yes, the man himself, the Master of
the Full Nelson, has set foot back in the wrestling rings of Florida. I recently
got some emails from a Florida wrestler by the name of Chaysn Rance. Here
are the two emails I got from him.
Hey,
It's Chasyn Rance. I wrote to you before about the Warlord. I see
your
site hasn't been updated but ran into it when I was searching for my name (I
was bored). I don't even know if this e-mail works anymore, but I will
still
try. Warlord is doing fine. Believe it or not, I wrestled him last
month.
It was a quick match right after I wrestled another match. Won't write
much
more because I don't know if this will work. Write me back if you get
this.
Talk to you later.
Take Care,
Chasyn
Nobody lets him use the full nelson I don't think. He powerbombed me...twice. Not fun, trust me. If you would look at my website (www.chasynrance.com), you'd see everywhere I work. I am not sure where else Warlord is right now because I am not sure if this promotion will keep using him, but he is in Florida. I'm in a rush, so I will talk to you later.
So there you have it, The Warlord is back, and although he's not been using the Full Nelson, take it from Chasyn Rance, the man has a nasty powerbomb(my personal favorite move). So Vince, if you really want to turn around the sinking ship that is the WW(ugh I hate writing this part, just doesn't seem right)E, give Da Man a call. I'm not talking about Goldberg, I'm talking about Da Real Man, The Warlord. I'm always on the lookout for some good Warlord info, stories, match results and pictures, so if you have any, feel free to email me at mailto:[email protected]
Also, check out Chasyn Rance's website. www.chasynrance.com I checked out the site and although I can't say that I've seen him wrestle in person, he was trained by some solid pro's like Rusty Brookes, Billy Fives(really good wrestler), the Warlord himself, and Rocky Johnson. That's right, the Rock's dad. He looks like a great wrestler with a good future and I look forward to seeing him live when I get back to Florida. So, if you're in the Florida area and you get a chance, check out a card with Chaysn Rance on it.
Look upon the Warlord's awesome might and tremble before
his power

Look at this man's stellar ppv record. In the Royal Rumbles, it took such greats as Hogan, Andre, and Sid to eliminate this powerhouse. If not held down by backstage politics and red-tape, who knows how far the Warlord would have gone.

Nice page except for the steroids part. Terry
is currently living in Fort
Lauderdale and comes down to Rusty Brooks' Wrestling
School of Hard Knocks
every other week or so where I work out. If
you researched a little bit more
on the Warlord, you would have found out that a little
over 3 years ago,
Terry got into a car accident and cannot move his
neck. He is still huge but
not as big as he used to be. He has a son around
5 months old that looks
just like him. Maybe one day, Terry Jr. will
grace the ring.

This page really started off as a joke, but here is an actual real email about a guy who says that the Warlord helped him get through cancer.

Subject: An inpiration during my battle with cancer
I was always a POP fan and admired the Warlords strength
and wrestling ability.
I always felt that the Warlord was a quiet achiever.
During my battle with
cancer in '91 at age 16 The Warlord gave me the inspiration
to confront the
illness head on.
I met the Barbarian in June last year at Wrestleriot
in Melbourne Australia and
I was shocked to learn that the Warlord had suffered
his own personal set back,
relating to the car accident which unfortunately has
ended his wrestling
I was wish him all the best for the future and
I personally congrantulate him
on the arrival of his child 5 months ago.
