Angel was my first beagle. I had always had dogs but never a hunting dog. I got lucky and got a very clean and honest mouth dog when I picked her. She suffered through me training her because I did not send her to a pen. We managed to muddle through and I ended up getting her started by using a live trap and letting the rabbit out in the back yard with her in HOT pursuit. She is always ready to go hunting and is naturally trash free and has stay power to get it going again in those long checks. She can hunt with the pack but will find her own rabbit if they take to long firing one up. Angel will be missed and I hope that she and her new owners will be happy. Keep them running Angelgirl.
