PROLOGUE
INTENT

The intent of this web page is to identify and recognize those that served with the
"Field Wire Section, Communications Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters
Company, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division, in Korea, specifically during
the period January 1953 through April 1954; and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 459th Signal Battalion (Combat Area), in Vietnam, during the period October 1966 through October 1967, and to establish communication and reunite, though it may only be through the Internet, with as many of our friends as possible.

DEDICATION

This web page is dedicated to all those that served in the Armed Forces of the
United States and its allies during the period of open hostilities in the country of
Korea during the "Korean War", to those that have served since the Cease-fire
of August 1953, and to those still guarding the "Frontier of Freedom" along the
"Demilitarized Zone".  May the people of all countries that participated in the effort
to stop North Korean aggression against the people of South Korea, and in doing
so sent their father's, son's, and daughter's to fight the aggressor, forever
remember the sacrifices of those sent and especially those that gave the
"Supreme Sacrifice", and those that are still "Missing-In-Action" to this day.

A special dedication is made to my wife, Virginia, who stood by me throughout my
military career, and who served every day as I did, and to our daughter's, Vicki and Suzanne, who were separated from their father for a good part of their early lives.

May God Bless us all and these United States of America.
