Lee is the primary character in Gift of Gaia, and most of the story revolves around him. He has little memory of his past but seems to have natural powers with machines. Lee joins the "Resistance" to find out who he really is. He attacks with a sword and the Element of Lightning. His summon is the powerful thunderbird.
Erik is a shady character that attacks with a shotgun/sword combination and the Death Element. His Summon, Grim Reaper, can cause instantaneous death on many weaker creatures that cross its path. Erik's loyalty, however seems to shift dramatically as he learns to cope with this purely evil summon.
Tony A spunky young martial artist from a volcanic island city, Tony's master believes he doesn't have enough discipline to become a great fighter. While training, Tony's best friend and role model died in a freak accident crippling the potentially great warrior's very soul. Only time will tell if Tony can bring himself to fight again. Tony has buried within him the Fire Element and can summon the powerful FlameWolf to literally burn up the competition.
Polite, energetic, and forever optimistic, Terence is a boomerang thrower form a small water village. When Terence finds out that Kismark, an ambassador from Jangon, is trying to turn his town into an outpost for the army, he doesn't hesitate to call upon all his strength and newfound Water Element to save his hometown. Terence eventually sets out on his own, taking the fight against the Jangon troops personally.
A very mysterious person indeed, Chris has been sighted In many towns across the land. Very little is known about this mysterious person, but he appears to be bent on completing some personal vendetta. Rumor has it that he was sighted raising up a great mysterious power some people believe to be the very spirit of the earth. Clad in a black cloak and black armor, he wields a massive dual-bladed sword, and seems to be tied to a mysterious Blacksnake summon. Chris is a powerful fighter. He also repportedly posses a form of Blue magic that he has gathered from his most powerful foes.
Racema is a member of a strange, catlike tribe that lives on a small deserted isle and appears apparently only when the planet is facing catastrophe to summon a giant healing goddess. Racema often gets looked at strangely when she is in public, because of her dim view on basic human nature and technology. Racema attacks using a broom created by herself that supposedly has a power that makes it well...
unique from other brooms! She can also cure creatures with her Life magic or summon the FlowerGirl to preform powerful healing, draining away evil creatures very life essence!.
A religious missionary with no interest in war at first, Mike learns of the crisis of the planet and of his Holy Element. After realizing that the fate of the entire world is at stake, Mike joins the quest to stop Jangon. He fights using his Holy Sword and can summon his Guardian Angel when in a jam.
A streetsmart young boy, Cheshil lives in a cold, Grey city on the outskirts of the polar ice cap. When he learns that Miang, the mayor's daughter, is secretly trying to sell his town to the Jangon, he immediately takes on his Ice Elemental Powers and Frostdragon Summon. An avid comic book collector, Cheshil attacks with a unique method of fighting; he grapples the enemy with his grappling hook and launches them into the ground.
Strong-willed and inventive, Ruby lives in a beautiful but dangerous breezy seaside city. When Lee saves her from pirates, she reluctantly joins up against Jangon (she prefers doing things her own way).Ruby is a master at using rods in battle, uses the Wind Element, and also can summon a Cherub.
Rin is a brave ninja descended from a long line of ninja heroes. Rin has seen (and slayed) more monsters than most people could imagine, and keeps a momento from each one he kills, to prove to his town and himself. User of the Earth Element and Golem summon, Rin also conceals many weapons in his ninja armor, and can attack with swords, rods, knifes, or shrunken at random making him a very dangerous, unpredictable fighter indeed!
*Mummy* is the last of the ancient race that developed the Elemental guardians. Mummy realizes the evil his people put in the hands of Jangon, and swears on behalf of his race to defeat the Jangon Empire. Mummy can attack with giant knives, or use his powerful Time Magic to slow or stop enemies or hasten his allies. If he summons his Time Mage, time itself may stop.
Enemies
Red Sun Organization- Hired by Jangon to obtain all of the mysterious crystals before Lee and company, the Red Sun sometimes hinders lee's progress but may help you for "mutual benefit", no matter what though, they seem to be one step ahead of Lee. Commanded by Red, this mercenary group will do anything for money.
The short-tempered, wild-haired leader of the Red Sun, Red's massive Metal Arms are sure to put the hurt on anybody that happens to unfortunatley stand between them. Red is one of the most dangerous foes that Lee may encounter on his journey, a villain not to be trusted, unless you've got plenty of what he wants most- money.
Although she looks rough, Sia Sia is actually calm and collected. She has the ability to plan ahead of time- something that Red never quite understood. Red's impatience often leads Sia to literally try to knock some sense into him! She wields a mighty weapon, the incredible lightning whip crafted by Sia herself.
Other Enemies
A great general of the Jangon army, General Seraphis believed to be bio-engineered.He was once the leader of the entire Jangon Army, but now he must answer to the Dark Being's new right- hand man. Seraph's chosen weapon is a wicked organic blade.
The daughter of the mayor of Cheshil's hometown, Miang is a stubborn brat who is planning on selling her town to Jangon for money. Although she doesn't know of the young boy named Cheshil, she soon does as a duel between her whip and his grappling hook soon follows.
