The Asheville Tourist are a minor league
baseball team
affiliated with the Colorado Rockies. They play home games
at McCormick Field, only a short drive from Brevard.
If baseball is your game, give the Tourist a try this season.

One of the most famous estates in all of America is located only a few miles from Brevard. While you're here, you really should make an effort to see the Biltmore House.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is just up the mountain from Brevard. The Pisgah Inn, which is located on the Parkway, has a lovely restaurant with one of the best views in the entire state.
Flatrock Playhouse is famous throughout the country. Carl Sandburg lived in Flatrock for many years. If you find yourself in our local area, seeing a performance at the theater is a must.
