Driving through Arizona looking for something to replace the old camper I stumbled across
this beautiful Avion '69 C-11. Love at first sight, not cheap though...$2000.
I took all the vital measurements to see if it would fit the next picture which was a hundred miles away in Bisbee AZ.
De Avion will fit on this truck when I shorten the frame. There will be room for a cab
extension and support for the full lenght of the Avion, plus space under the wings for
utility boxes. In that way I can throw all kinds of stuff out of the campershell to give me         more room inside. Stuff like propane tanks, watertank and pump, battery, water heater etc.
Since nothing worked I can replace all that with bigger or better items for the long road trips.
Also the steps at the entrance seriously damaged the camper floor from the unsupported
last couple of feet. They can now be welded onto the frame.
The shell will be fixed to the chassis, I do not wish it to be seperated ever.

The welding of the platform has begun!
