Searching for the parents and wife of William LANCKFORD of Broughton Parish, Hampshire, England whose daughter Prudence LANCKFORD was born circa 1631 and married 7 Nov 1653 St. Pancras Parish, Chichester, Sussex, England to William CLAYTON (c1632-1688), son of William Clayton (see CLAYTON family) and Joan Smith (see SMITH2 family).

William Lanckford may have moved to Rumboldswyke near Chichester, Sussex, England where William Clayton and wife Prudence were living. He may be the William Lankford "of Rumbolds Wyke" who died 1 Jan 1665/6 according to the records of Lews and Chichester MM, Sussex.
