(3) John HOPKINS died 1770/1. He married to a woman named Elizabeth ----. His will made 22 Dec 1770 Princess Anne Co., VA names wife Elizabeth, sons Jeremiah, John and Jonathan, daughter Dinah Parson's children; daughter Mary Whitehurst, Elizabeth Murden and Frances Weblin. Grandchildren George and Elizabeth Weblin and Sary and William Whitehurst.

(1) Joshua HOPKINS was married to a woman named Keziah ----. In 1760 he was accused by Jonathan Hopkins of fathering a child by his negro Rachel. In 1779 a warrant was issued for his arrest and he was charged with treason.

(4) Jonathan HOPKINS born about 1738. In Aug 1778 he gave his age as 40 and upwards in a deposition. He married to Sarah WILES, daughter of Samuel and Abiah Wiles.
(5) Dinah HOPKINS married to ----- PARSONS. She was willed land by her grandfather, John Hopkins Sr. which was disputed in Tully Moseley vs. John Hopkins Jr. in 1764.
(6) Mary HOPKINS married to ---- WHITEHURST.
(7) Elizabeth HOPKINS married to John MURDEN.
(8) Frances HOPKINS married to William WEBLIN and James LAMB.
