Executor: wife and son-in-law John Fentris. Witnesses: John Kempe, Thomas Williamson, Carroway Whitehurst.

Second Generation

The children of John and Perscila Hopkins were:

(1) Joshua HOPKINS who settled the estate of Willis Randolph, 1774 Princess Anne Co., VA. He was the guardian to or boarded the children of Willis Randolph from 1770-1774.

(2) Jehosaphat HOPKINS had issue referred to in his father's who were not named.

(3) John HOPKINS died 1770/1. He married to a woman named Elizabeth ----. His will made 22 Dec 1770 Princess Anne Co., VA names wife Elizabeth, sons Jeremiah, John and Jonathan, daughter Dinah Parson's children; daughter Mary Whitehurst, Elizabeth Murden and Frances Weblin. Grandchildren George and Elizabeth Weblin and Sary and William Whitehurst.

Third Generation

The children of John and Elizabeth Hopkins were:

(1) Joshua HOPKINS was married to a woman named Keziah ----. In 1760 he was accused by Jonathan Hopkins of fathering a child by his negro Rachel. In 1779 a warrant was issued for his arrest and he was charged with treason.

(2) Jeremiah HOPKINS

(3) John HOPKINS

(4) Jonathan HOPKINS born about 1738. In Aug 1778 he gave his age as 40 and upwards in a deposition. He married to Sarah WILES, daughter of Samuel and Abiah Wiles.

(5) Dinah HOPKINS married to ----- PARSONS. She was willed land by her grandfather, John Hopkins Sr. which was disputed in Tully Moseley vs. John Hopkins Jr. in 1764.

(6) Mary HOPKINS married to ---- WHITEHURST.

(7) Elizabeth HOPKINS married to John MURDEN.

(8) Frances HOPKINS married to William WEBLIN and James LAMB.
