He came in during the winter of 1999. Chris only Lasted for 2 months. He was released after doing shoot interviews with a few websites about Mike Powers was a lame champion and that Chris Cage should be the champion. He also stated the cwf.pro was a joke efed and Pres burns had no idea on his company or the sport. After Bashing the cwf.pro so much, Pres Burns released him. There is still no clue on where this all came from, but he was a friend of Billy Monroe. Rumors say that Billy was still upset about the Powers & Monroe fall out.

Cage did go to the NWC and won the Cruserweight Champion 5 times. After the fall of the NWC in 2002. He did contact Pres Burns about a return and did say he was sorry about all the comments that he had said. Cage was not welcomed for a 2nd run in the cwf.pro and he then retired from ewrestling
