[Sunday, June 16th. The CWF is back with it's third Dangerzone since returning to the world of professional wrestling. The pyro goes off and the crowd roars as the cameras start rolling. We are LIVE from Cincinnati Ohio, at the CWF arena.]
Gordon Montgomery: Welcome fans! As you read earlier this week on our website, CWF Dangerzone has moved from Monday Nights to Sunday Nights!
Travis Minor: Yeah, we got tired of kicking everybody else' ass, so we decided instead of taking a chunk of their Monday Night ratings, we'd take a chunk out of their PPV buyrates. The CWF is just that DAMN GOOD!
Gordon Montgomery: In dark match action, Anarchy defeated Billy Wild via Total Destruction submission in three minutes. Fans, let's take you backstage to something our cameras caught just minutes ago.
[Matt Vaughn's office. Camera enters and see's Vaughn and Blackbird talking. This is a new office for Vaughn, unusually smaller than his previous one.]
Blackbird: How do you like your new office, Matthew?
Matt: It's fine.
Blackbird: Really? You don't find it, less accomodating?
Matt: Maybe if you didn't take up so much room with your hot air, it'd be more spacious, windbag.
Blackbird: Your compliments amuse me. This week, I will make the schedule. So you can leave now, and don't worry, CWF will be in good hands, my hands.
Matt: I'll stick around, if you don't mind.
Blackbird: Not at all, not at all.
[Back to announcers booth.]
Gordon: Fans, it's now time for our FIRST match of the evening.
Eric Masterson: Ladies and Gentlement, allow me to introduce the first participant in tonights opening match, he makes his home in Virgina, is a former member of the DWO and returning CWF Star, Shawn Temp!!!
[Crowd is mixed, leaning on the boo'ing side, but a moderate amount of cheers. Shawn plays up to both sides in the crowd, mocking some fans but applauding others.]
Eric Masterson: And his opponent, he is the current reigning CWF Champion, a man who makes his home in Miami, Florida, he is a former member of the Extreme Outlaws, coming to the ring with The Bodyguard , he is Mack McMichaels!!!
[Crowd POPS huge. There are scattered portions of the crowd booing Mack, one sign says "Go back to Miami, beach bum". However, the majority give the returning champ a proper return welcome. Mack turns around and tells The Bodyguard to go back to the dressing room, TBG does so, looking somewhat confused.]
[The Bell rings]
Gordon: Mack is standing in the corner, with his back to Temp, playing up to the crowd.
Travis: Temp chargers with a splash but Mack moves and Temp connects with the turnbuckle, Temp is dazed and Mack nails a dropkick!
Gordon: Mack picks up Temp for a scoopslam, and then follows it up with a fist drop!
Travis: Mack goes up top and connects with a missile dropkick. Mack is up, and poses for the crowd! What a MORON. This beach bum is taking Temp too lightly...
Gordon: Mack goes back over to Temp and, wait, roll up by Temp!
Ricky Paige: One...........two.......thr
Travis: KICKOUT, damn I thought Temp had him.
Gordon: Temp with a flying clothesline, puts Mack down! Temp picks up Mack, BRAINBUSTER!
Travis: That's right Gordo, and it's no brain buster, Shawn Temp is about to win this match!
Gordon: Don't count down Mack yet, "Trav"!
Travis: Temp hits a standing dropkick on Mack! Mack is up, kick by Temp, swinging neckbreaker!
Gordon: Temp goes up top, flying cross body on Mack! Wait, his moment carries him over, Mack is now on top!
Travis: Reversal once again as Mack also had too much momentum, Temp has the cover!
Gordon: And a handfull of tights!
Ricky Paige: One.........two.........three!
Travis: That's it, SHAWN TEMP HAS BEATEN MACK MCMICHAELS!!
Gordon: I don't believe it.
Travis: Believe it, Temp has earned himself a title shot!
[We go to commercial as Temp runs up the rampway happy as a kid in a candy store, with Mack in the center of the ring, looking dumbfounded]
[Back from commercial]
Gordon: Fans, get ready to see the debut of one of the new wrestlers here at the CWF, Richard Jones.
Travis: That's correct Gordo, he'll be facing the one, the only, the washed-up, Nick Sharpe!
Gordon: I wouldn't go calling Sharpe washed up Travis.
(the lights go down and "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott hits the PA. Nick Sharpe comes out to a very loud chorus of cheers and praise. He climbs into the ring as Eric Masterson finishes his introduction.)
Gordon: There he is fans, one of the all time veterans of the CWF.
(the lights fade once again and "Tear Away" by Drowning Pool fills the arena, and the fans unleash a horrendous display of distate towards Richard Jones)
Travis: There's the man.the bringinger of Truth.you go Jones!
(the bell sounds)
Gordon: These two are wasting no time.they both lunged right at each other.Oh, there's a nice arm drag by Sharpe.and another. He's teaching this rookie what it means to be CWF.
Travis: Don't worry, Jones is just buying his time.see! There he goes.he just reversed a suplex by Sharpe into his own suplex. Nice!
Gordon: Don't get too cocky too fast Travis.becomes here comes Sharpe again with a barrage of lefts and rights.Jones is reeling backwards.and he goes down hard.
Travis: He'll be up in a matter of seconds.wait.wait.what is Sharpe doing? Oh! I bet that elbow drop knocked the wind of Richard Jones.
Gordon: Sharpe pulls Jones back up.and goes to whip him to the ropes.but Jones turns it around.Powerslam! He goes for the cover.
Travis: This could be it for Sharpe.1.2.oh!
Gordon: And Sharpe kicks out at 2.
Travis: That was three.that was three!
Gordon: I'm afraid not Travis. Jones wasn't happy about that call.and I think he's going to try and take Sharpe out right here and now. He's got Sharpe by the neck.looks like he's going for the "The Truth"!
Travis: And I'll bet he hits it too!
Gordon: Richard is trying to get a struggling Sharpe up.but no.Sharpe with a series of elbows to the face! Jones drops him.
Travis: This can't be good, Gordo.
Gordon: Sharpe kicks Jones in the gut.turns him up.THE SHARPER IMAGE! Sharpe has just nailed it on Jones.the cover.1.2.3! This ones over.
Travis: Looks like the Truth really doesn't hurt after all.
Gordon: Sharpe is your winner folks.now lets throw it backstage where Vanessa McLure is standing by with Syn.
(The camera changes to backstage where Vanessa McLure is ready to interviewSyn)
McLure: Syn, tonight, in the main event, you'll be facing Rowdy Ronald Peeper. And you didn't cut any promos all week. Why the secrecy.
Syn: Well Vanessa, I'm a very busy man. I can't waste my time on the Great Scottish Joke when I need to concentrate on proving to the world that I'm the best wrestler ever.
McLure: You seem pretty full of yourself.how can you be sure that you'll win tonight.
Syn: Because, Vanessa, THE FACT IS that I CAN NOT BE BEATEN by the likes of anyone here in the CWF. Look at the slaughter that consumed Mandrake. where is he? Oh yeah, I took him out for a month or more.now if you ask me any more questions that we know the answer too.the same thing might just happen to you.
(Vanessa McLure has a very frightened look on her face as the camera cuts back to ringside)
Eric Masterson: And now, it is time for our main event of the evening.
[Crowd cheers]
Eric Masterson: Allow me to introduce, the challengers! First, from Scotland, Rowdy Roddy Peeper!
[Bag pipe music plays. Half of the fans pop, the other half look dazed and confused, unsure of how to react to Peeper]
Eric Masterson: And his opponent, Syn!
[Crowd mostly boos as Syn's music, by Megadeath plays]
[The Bell rings]
Gordon Montgomery: Fans, grab a cold beverage and some snacks, and sit yourselves down. A CWF main event is always must see TV!
Travis Minor: Right you are, Gordo! The winner of this match up will face that loser that calls himself the CWF Champion, Mack McMichaels!
Gordon Montgomery: Syn and Peeper lock up, and Peeper with an armdrag!
Travis Minor: I'm not impressed.
Gordon Montgomery: Syn isn't either. He has a look of disguist on his face. They lock up again, Syn gets in a cheap shot and a vertical suplex!
Travis Minor: Syn picks up Peeper, but Peeper turns it into a small package!
Rocky Miller: One.........two....
Gordon Montgomery: And a kickout!
[The crowd then focuses it's attention towards the rampway, as Mack McMichaels makes his way out.]
Travis Minor: What is that loser doing here? Doesn't he know that Blackbird keeps him off the final quarter hour to boost our ratings?
Gordon Montgomery: Mack rolls into the ring, DOUBLE clothesline by the champ! He grabs a chair...
[WHACK! The sound of steel hitting the head of Syn, and then Peeper brings the crowd to their feet! The crowd seems split, half are cheering, the other half are upset that their main event is cut so short. Mack grabs a mic.]
Mack: Don't boo me, this is not a main event worthy of CWF's calibier. Look at this, this is pathetic. I put Syn in CWF's retirement home, and here he is trying to bore you people to death. And then we've got Peeper, who probably doesn't even have a green card. This is a joke. I want somebody worthy to challenge for my title...
[At this moment, Shawn Temp, who beat McMichaels earlier in the night comes flying over the guard rail and jumps into the ring]
Gordon Montgomery: We've got a fight brewing in the ring! Punches are flying left and right, Temp beat Mack earlier tonight, and that means he's next in line for a title shot!
[Security enters the ring and pulls Mack back, allowing Temp a few extra shots before more security enters and restrains Temp]
Travis Minor: Yeah Gordo, look at the chaos ensuing in the ring! This is the CWF I know and love! Let 'em go at it some more!
["Down came a Blackbird" by Lila McCain plays. Out comes Blackbird 13 with a clipboard and mic. He is follwed by Ricky Paige and Rocky Miller]
Blackbird13: Okay, how are you Cincinnati peons doing tonight? No, peons is not a compliment, it's a put down.
[Crowd boos]
Blackbird13: Boo all you want. I love boo birds. Time to do some booking of next week...I'm gonna love this. Mack McMichaels and Shawn Temp, you guys will fight each other for the CWF Title at Reawakenings, July 7th. But for next week...
[Paige/Miller interupt Blackbird]
Paige: Blackbird, could we have a tag team match next week?
Miller: We just want one last tag match, together. We used to wrestle waaaaay back in CWF, on Sunday Night Superzone, now we want one match on Dangerzone.
Blackbird: Okay. Your wish is granted. It'll fit my plans nicely. Before I announce who you two will be fighting, I have other matches to book. Demented Don Jenkins will face Billy Wild in a dark match.
Blackbird: Also, on Dangerzone, Nick Sharpe and Crazy Carl will face Anarchy and Syn in a four corners elimination tag team match.
Blackbird: Finally, Next week, in the Main Event, it will be Shawn Temp....and RICKY PAIGE....VERSUS.....Mack McMichaels...and...ROCKY MILLER! Ha ha ha!
[Paige and Miller look upset]
Paige: We said...
Blackbird: A tag team match. Together. You'll be in a tag team match. And you're together in the same ring. Just on opposite ends.
Miller: But...
Blackbird: Quote the Blackbird, nevermore.
