(The camera slowly fades into a black screen. The words CWF fly into it in flaming letters, that burn into the screen. All of a sudden the fire dims out, and we see nothing but black. This quickly changes, as we see an electrified logo of the ppv. CWF Presents... Summer of 2000: Beach Brawl, shows up on the screen. It is followed by an intro of wrestlers connecting their pattoned finishers on unworthy victums. It shows clips from past matches, and is all in funky summer colors. The camera than changes from this, and shows scenes of past fueds, leading up to this ppv. It shows Night Stalker and Blackjack going at it for the Heavy Metal title, with Stalker winning it. It shows the Lethal Alliance winning the tag team titles, against The Horsemen. It than shows Chasm winning the Cruiserweight title from Billy Bob, and Brett Logan beating Michael Torez for the Peoples title. It than shows Brett Logan destroying the Horsemen, and finally we see Glory and Archbishop Apocalypse, merged together, the PPV's main event)
(The camera than fades out and into the Panama City Ocean Waves arena. The place is jampacked, and apparently soled out. The camera pans around the arena, as the fans wave up their posters, for everyone to see. Some significant ones seen are "I'm a McLure-O-Holic", "The Peoples Champion is SOOOO Sexxy", "Archbishop of what?", "What does Night Stalker stalk during the day?", and "My Right hand is more extreme than Extreme Icon". The camera than pans to the commentator booth, where Vanessa is all happy about that sign, Matt is rolling his eyes, and Masterson is asleep. They begin the broadcast)
McLure: LOOK! There is a McLure-O-Holic in the crowd, THEY DO LOVE ME!
Masterson: Damn't Vanessa, Im trying to sleep over here, you woke me up. Murdock: Oh well, how about we start this ppv, instead of wasting the good peoples time.
McLure: Folks, since Im in a happy mood and these two poor saps aren't, I'll tell you about the matches tonite. Man, we have one helluva show for you. We have Chasm taking on the SEXXY Guerrero Azteca for the Cruiserweight Title, and we also have an Electrified Cage Battle Royal.
Masterson: I'll take over now. And that's not all folks. We also have two fatal four way matches. They are... War Dog vs Prodigy vs Kevin Kirkland vs Kronic and Blackbird 13 vs Billy Bob vs Blackstreak vs Mack McMichaels.
Murdock: Then after that, you'll see Night Stalker defend his Heavy Metal title against it's previous owner, Blackjack.. in a flaming casket match. Also we will see the Lethal Alliance defend their tag team titles for the FIRST TIME against The Horsemen and the Vandalles Esate.
McLure: Finally, Brett Logan will defend his peoples title and compete for the title of Mr. Extreme, against the Extreme Icon, in a no holds barred, extreme match. Then, in our main event... Archbishop Apocalypse will defend his world title against Glory, in a 20 foot high Scaffold match, with cacti, no ring, fire, broken glass, and an electrified moat... What a night it will be.
Masterson: But first, we have the CWF Summer Awards show, headed by Magnus Pelf himself, who is retiring at the end of this night. We give the floor to him.
("Ironman" by Black Sabbath plays as Magnus Pelf walks out onto the entrance ramp. He is given a mixture of cheers and boos, as he walks down tot he ring. He climbs up, and walks to the center. He grabs a mic from Spracher, and speaks)
Magnus Pelf: Well well well... another CWF event, on PPV itself. Well, I'll go on and get to my point, I don't want to bore you people anymore than you will be the rest of the night. As of the end of this night, I am retiring once again as the CWF president. I have something else I need to do. Fortunately, you will all still see me here, so just wait and see what happens. Anyway, I have one last thing to do as the CWF president, and that's to announce the CWF Summer Awards. Well, here goes. To start off with, the more infamous awards.
Winning Worst Gimmick folks, is 3 guys that you could have picked out of a hat, and still got. They are The Prodigy, Jason Logan and Billy Bob. Congradulations to these 3 men, they should be very proud. Coming in 4th was JV, and last was Lost Reaper. Now onto Worst stable. The last time we had this award folks, The Rulebreakers themselves won this award, being the worst stable to say the least. Well, to their own stupidity, they come back right around the awards, and win it again. Folks, worst stable is the Rulebreakers again. Coming in second was DTA, third was DWO, fourth was Extreme Perfection 2000, and last was Asylum.
Now onto Favorite Commentator. Last time, we got some rather interesting responses, but the winner was Vanessa McLure. Well, for the second time in a row, you the people, voted Vanessa as the best commentator. Matt Murdock came in second, and Eric Masterson came in last. Leaving off with that, the Least Favorite Commentator is... Matt Murdock. Second place went to Vanessa McLure, and last to Eric. Now let me get this straight... you guys voted him as your least favorite favorite, but your favorite least favorite... hmm... that's odd. Next, we move on to some better awards.
First off, Most Dominating Stable. The winner of this award, BARELY, goes to The Asylum. In second was the Extreme Outlaws, in third DWO, and DTA and the Horsemen tied for last, with absolutely no votes whatsoever. That's a damn shame.
Next on the list, is Best Gimmick. This award was nothing for our winner. He ran away with it.Best gimmick goes to Mack McMichaels, for having it so easy to act like such a jackass. Thanks mack, many laughs over here. Coming in second was Guerrero Azteca, tied for 3rd was Lucifer Crowley and Carl Benton, and in last... was Special K.
Now, the next award is Best Fued. The Funny thing is, we have a tie here, but the same man is in both of them. Best fued goes to Prodigy vs Brett Logan, AND Brett Logan vs The Assassin. Brett racking up with two wins in one category. Tied for second was Cyclone vs JV, and Ken Sparks vs The Assassin. Last place went to Azteca vs Carl Benton.
Now, to kinda go backwards a little bit, I have the awards right in my hands, for... yes... you gessed it, Best Jobber. Most favorite jobber went to Jay Bronie. Coming in second was Macks Ego, 3rd was Fear. For you who don't remember, fear was the FIRST cwf wrestler to lose to a jobber. Coming in last was a tie with El Toro, and last times winner, Rickey Paige. I will now move on with things we care about. Who cares about these guys who have nothing but 0's in their win columns, and big number amounts in the loss column.
Anyway, next is Best Finisher. This was a sure surprise to me. The only move to get multiple votes ~sighs~ Brett Logan.. with the Smackdown. Congradulations to Brett Logan for winning the award with the BEST move ever. Yeah... right. Other moves were whoever voted, because they all voted for their own move, except that one jackass.
Oh well. Anyway, The next award is, Best Title Reign. This award goes to Guerrero Azteca, for his reign as the Peoples Champion. Coming in second was a tie between the Assassin with the world title, and Niko Rage and Extreme Icon with the tag titles. Brett Logan with the International title was 3rd, and last was Counter Fit with the Heavy Metal title.
Next up, is Best Pay-Per-View. The ones nominated, were all of our ppvs in this year. Your winner, is surprisingly, Extreme Paradise. Highlight was Azteca retaining his title against Brett Logan, and the reformation of the Extreme Outlaws and the Four Horsemen. In second was Maximum Carnage. Third was a tie between Millenium Maddness, and Overdrive... and Reigning Blood was last.
Next up is Rookie of the Year. This was a total onslaugh. Archbishop Apocalypse is your Rookie of the year folks. Coming in second was Blackjack, third was Da Man 2000, and last was a tie between Jason Logan and Glory.
Next up is.. well... Match of the Year. Well, like an award earlier, this featured a tie, with the same guy in each one. Well, guess what... Brett Logan vs Da Man 2000 and The Assassin vs Brett Logan, are your matches of the year. Coming in second was Ken Sparks vs The Asssassin, third was Azteca vs Extreme Icon, and last was Carl Benton vs Azteca.
Continuing On... we have the award for Best Tag team. The CWF hasn't been known for it's tag team, as the division has been a joke for some time, but there were a few people who did stand out. Your winners, were Niko Rage and Extreme Icon. In second was War Dog and Glory, third was Mack Mcmichaels and his Ego, and fourth was a tie between Brett Logan and Wyate Brock and the current tag team champs, Rick Faith and Blackjack.
Ok folks, we are down to the 4 most important CWF awards of all. All of these before are pretty damn good, but the next ones are what you all came to see. Unfortunately, you might not like the results... well.. seeing how you guys love this guy, I guess you will. Anyway, best Extreme Wrestler went to Brett Logan.. by one damn vote. Coming in second was Extreme Icon, third Minister Massacre, fourth was Glory, and last was blackjack... who received no votes.
Now, Best Heel. Folks, you people must be idiots. The winner of this award.. by one damn vote again, is Night Stalker. Coming in second, was Brett Logan and Minister Massacre who both had three votes, and last was a two way tie between Apocalypse and Assasin.
The last two awards... winning it again, your best face is "Livewire" Ken Sparks. Coming in second was Guerrero Azteca, third was Alex Hart, and tied for Last was Prodigy and Carl Benton. I must say that you guys did a good job voting on this one.. cause Sparks won quite impressively... keep up being a baby fa.. I mean a face.
Now, finally.... the moment you've all been waiting for. I want to first say, that there were only 6 guys nominated for this award, but there were countless men who had done just as good during this time. Men like Minister Massacre, Night Stalker, and Glory... who were not nominated. Now, your winners, but in opposite order. Last in the voting, was a tie between Ken Sparks and Blackjack 13.. both received absolutely no votes. Coming in third was The Assassin. In second, we have Guerrero Azteca.... which means folks, your wrestler of the year is... BRETT LOGAN!!!!!!!!
Yey... whooopdeeeeedooooo... oh well, I hope you all were as bored as I was, and we appreciate everyones vote in this, because your lowly opinion does indeed matter. For those of you who didn't take the time to get off your lazy ass and vote, well... Do not complain, you all should have lost badly. Anyway, im out of here. You will NEVER see me again, so peace out and.. oh... ON WITH THE PPV!!
("Ironman" by Black Sabbath as Magnus Pelf walks out to a chorous of boos. The camera fades moves to the first match)
