TACO SOUP

Submitted by Lynn

Imgredients:

1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 (16-oz.) cans chili beans, undrained
1 (16-oz.) can whole corn, undrained
1 (16-oz.) can chopped tomatoes, undrained
1 (15-oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 can chopped green chilies
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 envelope dry ranch dressing mix

Directions:

Brown beef and onion together in a skillet and drain the grease. Add additional ingredients to the beef and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve with saltine crackers or tortilla chips if desired.

I have also used chicken instead of beef and it is good too.
