CHICKEN A LA KING

FROM THE KITCHEN OF THELMA JOLLIFFE

INGREDIENTS

1 small green pepper chopped
1/2c margarine
1/2c flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp instant chicken bouillon
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/4 c. water
2 c. chicken (cut up) (cooked)
1 jar (4 oz) pimentos (chopped)

DIRECTIONS

Cook and stir green peppers in margarine ove medium heat for 5 minutes, remove from heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly, remove from heat. Stir in bouillon, milk and water. Heat to a boil stirring constantly. Boil and heat 1 minute. Stir in chicken and pimento, heat through. Serves 6
