He lowers his goggles over his eyes, and multi-colored lights start blinking around the lenses of his goggles. Starr stands with his arms raised in a "V" over his head as sparks rain down in front of the entrance. The rain of sparks stops, and Starr runs down the ramp and up the ringside steps. He hops over the top rope, takes an Aikido-style foward roll into the ring, then stands in the center of the ring with his arms raised in a "V" over his head once again.]
** In-Depth Info **
[1] What makes this character unique? Starr is eccentric with a strange, dark sense of humor. He has unique martial arts and high flying skills.
[2] Wrestler's attitude/personality: Starr is extremely intelligent, though eccentric and a bit paranoid. He has a definite "lone wolf" mentality and is somewhat arrogant. He has a dark sense of humor and a marked sadistic side. Slight undercurrent of strange sexuality a la Goldust.
[3] How many years of professional wrestling experience does your
wrestler
have? (pro/non pro?) Starr has about ten years of pro-wrestling experience.
[4] Strength and weaknesses. Please include a balance of strengths and
weaknesses.
Strength: Starr is very quick and agile, and his high-flying moves are particularly effective. He's also a very intelligent wrestler -- he particularly has a knack for knowing when to get out of the way.
Weakness: Because of his relatively small stature, Starr isn't very powerful, and he's vulnerable to power moves and weapon shots. Since he's most effective as a high-flyer, he's at a definite disadvantage when grounded.
[4] Summary of experience/history. Please be descriptive. This is
important: Starr grew up a frail, nerdy child in a working class neighborhood of Queens, New York. His two passions as a child were science fiction and professional wrestling -- he had little interest in much else. As a result, the other children bullied him relentlessly. When he was in middle school, his parents enrolled him in Karate classes at Murakami Sensei's local dojo. Murakami quickly realized that Starr had a natural talent for martial arts and took Starr under his wing. Under Murakami's tutelage, Starr became skilled in a variety of Japanese martial arts. Murakami knew that Starr dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler, so he arranged for Starr to train as a wrestler after he graduated high school with a cousin of his in Japan. After a few years of training in Japan, Starr began competing throughout Japan. He became quite successful and won many titles. He eventually competed with great success in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Starr returned to the United States recently to make his debut in CWF.
