** Appearance Info **

[1] Describe your wrestler's physical appearance (i.e., race, hair color, scars, facial hair, physical built, etc.): Áksel is of Sámi ancestry, the people indigenous to northern Scandinavia. He has narrow eyes, high cheekbones, a hooked nose, long black hair, no facial hair, pale skin, and grey eyes. He is tall and lean, but also quite muscular. He's also covered in a wide variety of tattoos, such as large tattoos of an inverted cross on his back and an inverted pentagram on his chest. His arms, shoulders, stomach, legs, and the areas on his back and chest not containing tattoos have various other pagan/occult/satanic symbols, Old Norse runes, words in the Sámi language, and H.R. Giger artwork.

[2] Describe your wrestler's ring attire: When he’s wrestling his trademark is to wear black t-shirts bearing designs of the heavy metal band Dimmu Borgir, or the artwork of H.R. Giger, black jeans, or black and white camouflage pants, black sneakers or black boots, and black leather gloves with the fingers cut out. When not wrestling he can be seen wearing various t-shirts of other extreme metal bands, spikes, and rings and necklaces bearing occult/pagan symbols.

[3] Does your wrestler wear or carry anything that he leaves at ringside when wrestling? Will sometimes carry his trademark weapons with him to the ring, even during regular matches that aren't specifically hardcore, and will attempt to use them if the fight goes outside of the ring.

[4] Write out your wrestler's entrance to the ring as it would appear before a match: The lights in the arena become dim and a cold, bluish light shines on the entrance stage, isle, and in the ring. Fog starts to appear on the entrance stage as Hybrid Stigmata by Dimmu Borgir plays over the sound system. When the violent screaming starts in the music, Áksel walks out from behind the curtain. Depending on his mood (which is unpredictable) he can be totally expressionless and staring out into space, smiling with an evil expression, laughing uncontrollably, or looking very angry. He stops and looks around at the audience before making his way down to the ring, sometimes carrying his trademark weapons. Sometimes he will just stare straight ahead at the ring (at his opponent if they're in the ring before he is), look around at the fans and shout obscenities, or laugh hysterically at them. He climbs through the ropes and then paces around the ring in the bluish light before going to a corner. If the opponent is someone he hates he'll sometimes run to the ring and not waste any time attacking them.

** In-Depth Info **

[1] What makes this character unique? Áksel has a schizophrenic/bipolar mental disorder and thinks he is a demigod son of the Norse god Loki. He has an extremely high pain tolerance and is willing to do anything in order to hurt his opponent and entertain the fans. Will quote lyrics from metal songs and speak in an old medieval dialect on occasion.

[2] Wrestler's attitude/personality: Áksel is usually very quiet with a dark, brooding, and disconnected personality. Because of his mental disorder he has a tendency to be moody and switch emotions at random. Has an unpredictable sense of humor that can be vulgar. He can become talkative, even ecstatic, when discussing things that interest him such as music, paganism, and fighting. Áksel's anger can be very violent and explosive. Speaks with a Norwegian accent, normally in a voice with a medium tone that’s neither deep nor light. Will sometimes change the tone of his voice to a deep, low growl or a high pitched shriek.

[3] How many years of professional wrestling experience does your wrestler have? (Pro/non pro?) Áksel is making his pro wrestling debut in the CWF.

[4] Strength and weaknesses. Please include a balance of strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths: Áksel has an extremely high tolerance to pain due to his psychotic mental disorder. His stamina is also exceptionally high due to the effects of this mental disorder and his high level of physical conditioning. He's usually able to make good use of defense techniques to reverse or escape moves in order to make up for his lack of technical offense. Will use this along with his toughness in an attempt to make an opponent use up their strength if he can’t defeat them with his generally roughhousing offense.

Weakness: Áksel's explosive psychotic rage and delusional thinking can work against him leading to unnecessary risks and bad judgment. A wrestler who is quite experienced and/or not intimidated by Áksel can use his behavior against him. His occasional manic tendencies can lead to him spending too much time entertaining the fans and enjoying the attention. Áksel has trained primarily in defensive techniques to compliment his toughness, and therefore has little advanced technical offense outside of basic wrestling and brawling moves.

[4] Summary of experience/history. Please be descriptive. This is important:

Áksel Stormo was born as the only child to his mother and father in the small town of Vardø, Norway. In his childhood he seemed to be a normal boy, but as he approached his adolescent years he started to display abnormal emotional problems. He was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a psychotic mental disorder at the age of 10. About a year after Áksel's diagnosis his parents relocated to a quiet neighborhood in the city of Oslo in order for their son to have better access to treatment and better opportunities for his education. There were also a few relatives who lived there. In Oslo, Áksel was given medication, became enrolled in a mental health program, and he underwent special schooling for children with emotional disabilities. As someone very introverted he never did make any close friends, but there were a few children at school whom he associated with. Although he had a mental disorder, Áksel was exceptionally intelligent and earned very high scores in most of his subjects, especially studies involving history, religion/mythology, humanities, and languages. As time went on Áksel's delusions continued, but his extremely emotional, sometimes violent, outbursts were greatly reduced because of his medication. He kept these delusions to himself because he didn't want his parents or the doctors finding out about them.

Áksel had vivid dreams and hallucinations that made him believe he was the one of the children of the trickster god Loki who happened to be born to human parents. He refers to his mother and father as his Midgard (Earth) parents. As time went on, his delusion developed into a detailed story. He believed that Loki chose a family of the Sámi race for Áksel to be born into because the Sámi people were the first established culture in Scandinavia and the first ones to pay homage to the gods who would be acknowledged under different names by both Sámi and Nordic cultures, but they were the same gods nonetheless. He also believes that many of the stories concerning the gods are inaccurate because of the limited knowledge of humans. Some of these stories are quite false, such as the details of the prophecy of Ragnarök, which he thinks will occur but not exactly the way humans think it will happen. Áksel believes that the other pantheons of gods all across the world have had demigod children throughout history, and he sees himself as one of the privileged few. He still cares for his parents and other family members, because they are a part of him and they care for his safety and well-being, but he longs to find a way to connect to his other half. The part of his being that separates him from the natural, human world.

Believing the schizophrenic delusion that he is the son of Loki, Áksel felt strongly attracted to most things involving gothic subculture and heavy metal music. Specifically black and death metal which focuses on paganism, the occult, and the darker side of reality. At the age of 13 he embraced these things as a new interest and hobby. His parents were both agnostic in their religious views and did not object to such activities. They saw it as something trendy that a lot of the younger people tend to like. Also, according to the doctor, as long as Áksel is content with his hobbies and they don't cause any problems for himself and others people then there's nothing to be concerned about.

One day, at the age of 15, Áksel's noticed that there was a new neighbor, a young adult, moving into a house beside the one that was directly across the street from his family's home. He used binoculars to spy on the new neighbor and those who were either his friends or family helping him move into his new home. One of the things that caught his attention was a bumper sticker on a vehicle and the clothing of a couple of the new neighbor’s associates. Swastikas and Celtic crosses, which indicated that they were part of a neo-Nazi group. Áksel was not alarmed at the sight of such a thing. At first he found it humorous that someone like that was a neighbor. But, as the weeks went by, his delusions started warping his mind, causing him to think differently about the situation. He would have dreams in which his god siblings Narfi, Fenrir, and Hel instructed him to watch the man very carefully and to keep track of who enters and leaves the house and when they do so, because the people he associates with are dangerous and could be a threat. In one dream he encountered his father Loki who told him to kill the man and anyone who happened to be with him at the time because they are a threat to the Sámi people and a disgrace to Scandinavia with their distorted views and selfish usage of ancient symbols pertaining to the gods. Shedding their blood would prove Áksel's worthiness as a son of Loki and as one who has the blood of jötunn (giants) in his veins.

One evening just before sunset, the area was very quiet, and his parents left the house to run some errands. He approached the house of the man when he knew there was another person there watching television with him in the front room. When the door was opened just a crack by the owner of the house, Áksel violently kicked the door in, throwing the man off balance, and proceeded to carry out a home invasion. Striking him in the face with the bat and knocking him down he chased after the other man who ran towards another room. Áksel knew it was to either get a weapon, or to escape, and he would not allow either one. Before he could grab the gun in the drawer he was able to open, Áksel bludgeoned the man until he was bloodied and no longer moving. Stopping for a moment to looking at the walls in the bedroom he saw neo-Nazi posters and flags adorning the wall. After leaving him for dead, Áksel walked back into the front room, where the owner of the home was struggling to get to his feet. Áksel, who at the age of 15 was 6'2", loomed over the man with a demonic and cold look on his face, and uttered the words "your kind must die...join your friend!” The man screamed out in horror before being beaten mercilessly, blood pouring from his ears and mouth, and one of his eyes hanging from the socket. Áksel then calmly left the house, baseball bat in hand, closed the door behind him, and walked back to his own home. Little did he know, someone heard the scream, and called the police when they saw Áksel leaving the house with a baseball bat and walking back to his house. The police first arrived at the house that Áksel invaded and saw the chaos and the two bodies. They then went to Áksel’s home and questioned him. He calmly admitted to attacking the two men, and gave his bizarre and eerie reasons for doing so. Not knowing how to even respond to the information that was given to them, they simply handcuffed Áksel and put him in the back of the police car until his parents got home.

The owner of the house was killed, and his friend was, and still is, in a coma. This was very devastating for Áksel's family, who had to quickly move in with relatives before they were able to find another residence on the other side of the city because of the risk of being targeted by hate groups. In court Áksel was wasn't fully charged with murder because of his mental illness even if he was at the age of criminal responsibility in Norway which is 15. The details of the incident, and his mug shot, appeared in newspapers and on television. He was admitted to a psych ward where he would stay under constant supervision. Áksel realized that the only way he could get his life back to "normal" in a reasonable amount of time was to fully cooperate with the doctors and his family, even if it meant lying to them because, in his own mind, they couldn’t possibly understand. He still continued to have visions that involved Loki and his god siblings telling him that because he proved himself with the killing, things would change for him as they promised; he'd just have to be patient. He finished the requirements to earn the equivalent of a high school diploma. By constantly reading books and studying on his own he gained expert knowledge of Scandinavian history. Growing up he spoke Norwegian and Northern Sámi, and he eventually learned how to speak Swedish, Icelandic, Finnish, Old Norse, Skolt Sámi, and Lule Sámi. After slowly making good progress with his behavior for several years Áksel was permitted to live on his own. Some symptoms of his psychosis, such as the delusions, were incurable despite the medication and the counseling he's received. Upon gaining his freedom he started to live a life of his own, but it was difficult because of the crime he committed and his mental health. He worked menial labor jobs, got some financial assistance from his parents, and lived in a low income housing apartment for people with disabilities.

In January of 2009 he attended a seminar hosted by Cyrus Amir Sadat, a prestigious Iranian wrestling veteran, who was traveling to several major cities around the world looking for students he could train and bring into the sport of professional wrestling. Áksel figured it was worth a try to escape to a better life because no experience was required, as Sadat was willing to train anyone as long as they demonstrated they had determination and willpower, which is the main thing he was looking for in a student. The tryouts were very brutal, and many of the people there who were athletic and experienced in combat either gave up or collapsed during the harsh drills and sparring sessions with Sadat's students from Iran or with Sadat himself. Áksel’s ability to absorb obscene amounts of punishment no matter what happens to him proved vital here. Sadat contacted Áksel and let him know that he chose him out of all of the others who arrived at the tryouts in Oslo because he possessed a toughness and killer instinct that he's never seen from someone who's never had any training, and not seen very often in those who do have training. Áksel saw this as the reward that his god family had promised him, so he decided to legally have his surname changed from Stormo to Lokison. Áksel’s family was confused by the sudden changes he was making in his life. The name change was radical enough, but they were skeptical of him trying to become a wrestler, even after speaking to Sadat over the telephone. Legally, there was nothing they could do because Áksel was an adult now. His parents were skeptical, but they decided to back away and let Áksel live his life. His other family members wished him the best. In a couple of months Áksel found himself in Shiraz, Iran at Sadat's newly built private gym and townhouse along with five other would-be wrestlers. After 12 months of world class conditioning (Áksel gained 50 lbs. of muscle), training in grappling and striking techniques, special dieting, and studying hundreds of pro wrestling matches...Áksel Lokison is ready to step into the ring.

[2] Descriptions of the finishers: The Helheim Wrench is an inverted cloverleaf hold sometimes combined with a body scissors (the same as Shuji Kondo's Gorilla Clutch). The Jötunn Headbutt is a flying headbutt attack to either the torso or back of the opponent. The Sámi Spike is a jumping, seated position piledriver that is sometimes further enhanced with a punch piledriver variation when Áksel uses one of his hands to drive their head down into the mat just before impact.

[3] What are the situations in which your wrestler could perform the moves? The Helheim Wrench can be done when the opponent is lying on the mat face down. The Jötunn Headbutt can be done when the opponent is lying on the mat either face up or face down, and Áksel is able to climb to the top rope or some other elevated area. The Sámi Spike can be done when the opponent is kneeling in front of Áksel or if they're standing in front of him so he's able to lift them up and turn them upside down.

[4] How can it be countered? The Helheim Wrench can be countered if the opponent turns over onto their back and frees their legs before the hold is locked on or if they grab the ropes. The Jötunn Headbutt can be countered if the opponent stops him from climbing the top rope, or if they roll out of the way before he lands on them. The Sámi Spike can be countered if the opponent hits Áksel before he can set them up for the piledriver, they perform a back body drop on him before he can lift them up in the belly-to-back, or they counter with a small package before he can turn them upside down in the belly-to-belly position.
