Commissioner releases Talent from CWA Jan 31 2001.
Just in today was a memo from Commissioner Robert Sherman on the release of former CWA Champion, A Former CWA United States Champion along with 2 other men whom's names will not be mentioned.

Rumors of Executive Producer of CWA being in Geneva Ohio?!?!
Thats right folks, we have had numerous e-mails saying that the Exe. Producer was seen with ECW Stars Nova, Chris Hamrick, and Julio Dinero in Geneva Ohio on January 21 at an NEPW show. We have yet to confirm these rumors but NEPW President himself has contacted Exe Producer and they seem to be on good terms as of late.

MAD DAWG IN AUTO ACCIDENT AND NOW RETIRED!?!?!
February 20th 2001 it was released on Mad Dawg's official site that Mad Dawg former Championship Wrestling Association World Champion has retired. Mad Dawg was in an automobile accident February 19th at 11:24 p.m. when a drunk driver ran a stop light smashing into the passenger side of the vehicle Mad Dawg was in sending the car into another parked vehicle. The driver escaped with minor injuries. Mad Dawg suffered a bruised tailbone and ruptured disk in his lower back. His neck suffered whiplash re-aggervating the already injured neck. Mad Dawg thanks all of his fans along w/ family for supporting him over the past year. We wish Mad Dawg the best of luck in recovery and God Bless him and his family.

Commissioner Honors Mad Dawg
Commissioner Robert Sherman has decided that out of respect for former World Champion Mad Dawg since the World Title is Vacant and Mad Dawg was the #1 Contender for the title he is presenting Mad Dawg with a commerative World Title with his name on it and abolishing the World Strap. He is going to introduce the New CWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BELT at the next show. There is no word on how the title will be up for grabs but insiders speculate a tournament of sorts.

No One seems to know exactly whats going on anymore. I attempt to contact CEO Senior Executive of the company and he doesn't seem to respond. I contact Robert Sherman (Either Current or Former I have yet to be informed) Commissioner and he hasn't heard any news sense his " release " in February. Wrestlers such as Cheezy E, Lone Wolf, Asylum, Flying Tigers they all claim that they have been "released" as well. The only current workers to my knowledge are possibly Eugene and Dexter Wyler along with Bouncer, Ash, and Curt Fury (Klub X-Treme, and Stick Figure Jones, BDK Solo, and El Cheapo. There has been little talk on the fore front as to what in the world is going on with Championship Wrestling Association. It was a year ago Yeserday that CWA made its Debut in New Haven Indiana. It would appear that CWA followed the footsteps of ECW and closed its doors without informing the general public.

MAD DAWG ANNOUNCED NEW COMMISSIONER!!! 2-27-01
In a press release Tuesday February 27th from CWA Head Offices they had announced the termination of Robert Sherman from the duties of Commissioner. The Current owner wasted no time replacing Robert Sherman by putting former WORLD CHAMPION MAD DAWG into the role. Will Mad Dawg appear in Lancaster? With the new Sheriff on the rise what does this mean for Championship Wrestling Association? Current rumors are that perhaps Mad Dawg has already started acting as Commissioner by setting up the main event at No Remorse by putting his old pal Stick Figure Jones in the main event for the NEW Lightweight Title that seemingly has just been created. This will be a story to follow over the next month leading up to CWA NO REMORSE!
