Grace is the daughter of a very famous movie star. Her life has been spent on movie sets and her family consists of her mother, her tutor and her mother's assistant. But when her mother returns to her home, a rather small cottage on Martha's Vineyard, Grace discovers that clues to the mystery of the identity of her father might be found here. Grace is enjoying anonymity with her new friends, and searches for clues and information at the same time. When she finally does find her father, it's a really nice and touching ending.

This is a great story with absolutely no controversial elements in it! The characters don't swear, her father isn't gay and there's no discussion of sex or drug use. It's a very clean, fun book that is very appropriate for middle school. Younger high schoolers might also enjoy it (Grace is 15 but youngish). Highly Recommended.
