The days have gone by,
Here I am.
Sitting by myself,
All alone.
Loneliness has crept into me
So much so
That I have learnt to live,
Alone. All by myself.
It has in a way
Made me stronger.
To control myself;
To be willing to share
With no one.
To be willing to talk
With no one.
It has become a part of my life.
I have conquered
That dreaded thing
Which all men fear;
The fear of being alone.
