Yard Sale Procedures
Annual Dues, currently $21, must be paid for you to participate as a member.  (Please note: This excludes Expecting & New Moms of Multiples who have not participated in a sale before.)
Members are required to work a 4-hour shift either on Friday or Saturday in order to participate in the sale.  (Please wear your CVMOM t-shirt on Saturday so you can be recognized).  You must sign-up to work a shift by Friday, August 17th or you will not be permitted to participate.  Members participating in the sale will be required to donate 10% to the club.  If a member signs-up to work but does not, she will be charged a 25% donation.
Non-Members (family & friends of members) who would like to sell their items are still welcomed to do so.  However, they are required to work a 4-hour shift either on Friday or Saturday in order to participate in the sale.  They must sign-up to work a shift by Friday, August 17th or they will not be permitted to participate.  Non-Members will be required to donate 20% of their profit to the CVMOM club.  This 20% is not to penalize non-members for selling items, because their donation is greatly appreciated by our club.  This donation will help with the expenses we incur as a club to put on the sale - advertising, use of building, etc. No more than 20 non-member sellers may participate in the sale - the first 20 to sign-up to work get those spots. If a non-member signs-up to work but does not, that person will be charged a 35% donation.
Non-members that are selling:      Please supply the club with a self-addressed stamped envelope so that we can mail your check to you.  A box will be placed on a table near the door for you to place the envelope in.
All items must be tagged properly.  See "Tagging Tips" for procedure.
Contact Jennifer Deacon @ 584-0141 to sign up to work or if you have any questions.
*NEW POLICY BEGINNING FALL 2006 YARDSALE*
We will no longer give you your earnings that you made from the yardsale before you leave on Saturday.  We will mail you your checks promptly after everything has been processed.
Only members can bring one extra person into the yardsale during the pre-sale.  Members (or New/Expecting Moms of Multiples or the Non-Member Seller) are allowed to enter the pre-sale. If other people accompany non-members or new/expecting moms of multiples to the sale, they may wait in the lobby area.
