is located in Southeast Missouri and we are in Missouri District 26-M1, of
the International Lions Club. The Lions Club of Caruthersville was
established in 1955.
Our Lions Club is part of an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.
Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

Scholarships, SMTS, RSVP, Caruthersville Nutrition Center, vocational
scholarship, High School music award, Ministerial Alliance Christmas
Fund,Lions Sunshine Fund (Nursing Home), Eyeglasses for qualifying
individuals, Project Graduation, Pemiscot County Rescue, and the Public
Library.
At the State and National level, annual donations are made to
LCIF ,
Mid South
Lions Sight First,
Missouri Lions
Eye Research, Missouri Hearing
Conservation,
Leader Dog program ,
Lions World Services for the Blind.
Besides the budgeted items as mentioned above, a donation can be made
for a specific purpose to qualifying individuals or organizations as approved by the Lions Club members. In
recent years some special donations have been: STARS programs (school
attendance Programs), Girl Scouts, National WWII memorial, City of C'ville Veteran Memorial, DAEOC, Kenny Rogers Children Center, Katrina
Victims, California wildfires, Tornado Victims in Pemiscot County, and many others.

Thanks to the residents and businesses of Caruthersville, Hayti, and Hayti Heights, the recent Lions Club auction raised funds for the Mid-South Lions Sight & Hearing and Kenny Rogers Children Center. With your donations and participation in the recent Auction, your have improved the quality of life for a few people. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to these worthwhile organizations.
