Dads and Lads Ultimate Overnight
What: A one-on-one family weekend for parent and Cub Scout
When: Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14

Holly Recreation Area
Organization Campground
This is a rustic campground in the middle of the woods, off an unpaved road,
with deer and small animals in the vicinity. Heron Lake is about a mile away.
It has fishing and swimming with a good beach. The organization campground is
a three or four acre rolling meadow, divided into 5 group camping areas.
Cost: $30 per Cub and parent, $10 per extra Cub
Money must be in to the pack treasurer by July 1, 2001.
In addition, the State Parks charge $4.50 per day or $20 per year per car.

Some families have expressed interest in meeting with the Dads and Lads at North Heron Lake beach after the campout for a family picnic. Please call Cyndi Whitfield if you are interested.

The objective this weekend is to give the kids a chance to have fun, in groups and with their parent, in the outdoors. However, if you are aware of opportunities for your child to gain advancement within this setting, please bring it to my attention
