GILBERT STAMBAUGH

Gilbert Neal Stambaugh, 61, of Stambaugh, died at
4:35 a.m. Sunday, September 26 1971 at the Huntington
Veteran's Hospital after an extended illness.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was the son of the late Forrest &
Martha Rice Stambaugh. 

Immediate survivors include his wife Florence Bayes
Stambaugh, one son, Richard Stambaugh of Chicago Illinois;
two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Neighborgall and Mrs. Dottie
Yuhas, of Columbus Ohio. 

Also surviving are two brothers, Ervin Stambaugh of Estill
and Ray Stambaugh of East Point; eight sisters,
Mrs. Laura Sargeant of Allen; Mrs. Mary Ember of West Palm
Beach, Florida; Mrs. Virginia Woner of Chicago Ill.; Mrs.
Dorothy Hillis of Newark, Ohio; Mrs. Naomi Lanahan of
Hollywood Florida; Mrs. Iona Imbergambo of New York. N.Y.;
Patsy Bland of New York N.Y.; and Genevie Accurie
of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jerry Ginnan
and Rev. Bill Ford at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 28
at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel under direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.

Burial followed in the Meadows Cemetery at Nippa.
