STELLA SPRADLIN

Dies October 20
At Rest Home

Mrs. Stella C. Spradlin, age 84, of Paintsville, died Wednesday,
Oct.20 1965 at the Golden Years Rest Home, Lackey.

Born Aug.26 1881, she was the daughter of Henry C. and
Katheryn Rice Conley

Spending most of her life as a resident of Paintsville she was
a member of the Christian Church and of the Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ben J. Spradlin she is,
survived by four sons, Henry Spradlin of Catlettsburg;
Hervie Spradlin of West Van Lear; Glenn Spradlin of Martin; and
Charles Spradlin of Thealka; seven grandchildren and
ten great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Preston
of Paintsville and Mrs. Fred Sherman of West Van Lear.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 22. 2:00 p.m. In the 
chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with S.B.Honeycutt
and Charles Saunders officiating.

Burial look place in the Wells cemetery under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were Ben J.Spradlin, Randolph Spradlin
Herschell Vanhoose, Harry Thomas, Robert Conley
and James H. Conley.
