RICE, Elder Willie ,Age 75, of Pikeville,d.  September 15, 1997, 
at his residence  Born August 1, 1922, in Floyd County, s/o  
Samuel L. Rice and Lucretia Boyd Rice. He was  a veteran. He was 
a member of the New Life United Baptist Church at Banner. 
Surviving him are his wife, Maxie Newsome Rice; a son, Samuel 
Rice; two stepsons, Orville E. Adkins and Kenis Gene Adkins, ; 
two daughters, Mary Conn  and Marsha Maynard of ; three sisters, 
Olga Allen , Sina Blanton  and Madge Mauk , Burial will be made 
in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel
