SINA RICE 
Mrs. Sina Caudill Rice, 81, died at her home at Oil Springs, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17 
1957. 

She was born June 27 1875 in Johnson County, the daughter of Stephen and Jenice Fairchild 
Caudill. She was married in 1897 to Dr. Grant Rice who survives her. 

Mrs. Rice was a member of the United Baptist Church. 

Surviving are three sons, Wayne Rice, Wade Rice, and Carl Rice of Oil Springs, one daughter, 
Mrs. Eschel Rice of Oil Springs, thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one 
brother, Ben Caudill of Fairborn, Ohio. 

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. today at the Oil Springs Methodist Church with the 
Rev. H.B. Holland and Rev. Lonza Reed officiating. 

Burial was made in the Rice Cemetery at Oil Springs, under the direction of the Paintsville 
Funeral Home.
