NORINE W. RICE 

ELKTON, Ky. -- Norine Ward Rice, 90, Nashville, Tenn., died this 
morning, Aug. 30, 2000, at her home of natural causes. 
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hillsboro 
Church of Christ, Nashville, Tenn. Graveside services will be at 
11 a.m. Thursday in Glenwood Cemetery, with Martin Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. 

A native of Elkton, she was born June 29, 1910, the daughter of 
the late Porter and Lura Atkins Ward. She was a homemaker and a 
member of Hillsboro Church of Christ. She had worked at Third 
National Bank, Nashville, and Irvin Trust Co., New York, and was 
a member of the Vanderbilt Women's Club. Her husband, Dr. John 
Ralph Rice, died in January. 

There are no immediate survivors. 

Memorials may be made to Lipscomb University, the Hillsboro Church 
of Christ or the donor's charity of choice.
