Maxie Rice 

1913-2000 Funeral services were held 
October 12 for Maxie Rice, 87, of 
Salyersville, who died Tuesday, 
October 10, at Mountain Manor Nursing 
Home. Mrs. Rice was born October 6, 
1913, in Magoffin County, to the late 
Harvey Litteral and Pearl Conley. She 
was a homemaker. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, Paris Rice. 
Officiating at services held at the 
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel were 
Elder Buster Blanton and Elder John 
Blanton. Burial was in Highland 
Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
