MABEL R. RICE Mabel Roundtree Rice, 95, of 9253 Winchester Road, West Bend, sister of Lillian Miller, Clark County, died Friday at her home. A native of Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Francis Morehead Roundtree. The widow of Robert P. Rice, she was a homemaker and a member of the West Bend Church of God. Additional survivors include four sons and three daughters-in- law, Julian and Joy Rice, Richard and Frances Rice, Kenneth and Carolyn Rice and Danny Rice, Clay City; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Odetta Adams, Mary Virginia Johnson, Thelma Frances Fallen, Janice Gail and Lonnie Dale Stewart and Doris Jean and Earl Gilbert, Clay City, and Sharon and Morris Gilbert Stanton; two other sisters, Geneva Everman, City City, and Madge Askew, Vincennes, Ind.; 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the West Bend Church of God by Rev. George Sparks, Rev. Jimmy Clark and Rev. Robert P. Rice. Burial was in the West Bend Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home, Clay City, was in charge of arrangements.
