LOUISE RICE
Louise Slaughter Rice, 85, of 446 W. Office Street, died Tuesday, January 13, 1998 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center. 

Born January 27, 1912 in Salvisa, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mayme Poulter Slaughter. 

She was a former telephone operator, a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church and a 1931 graduate of Midway School. She was a former member of the Homemakers Club and Ladies Circle. 

Survivors include: her husband, Roy J. Rice; one son, William Ronnie Rice, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren. One son, Donald Rice, preceded her in death. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, at 11:00 a.m. at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. David Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Zenah Teater, Eric Rice, Jack Morris, Forrest Bradshaw, Morgan Bradshaw, Tommy Singleton and Sonny Poulter.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
