DR. JOHN R. RICE

ELKTON, Ky. -- Dr. John Ralph Rice, 90, Nashville, Tenn., 
formerly of Elkton, died early Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, at 
Richland Health Center, Nashville, of natural causes.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood 
Cemetery, Elkton, with the Rev. Dr. Marlin Connelly 
officiating. There will be no visitation. Martin Funeral 
Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Dec. 13, 1909, the 
son of the late John Henry and Minnie Skeen Rice. He had 
practiced medicine in Nashville for 33 years. He was a member 
of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Norine Ward Rich.

Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice or to 
David Lipscomb University or Hillsboro Church of Christ.
