Harold Rice 

1922-1996 Harold M. Rice, 73, died 
June 6, 1996, at VA Medical Center 
in Lexington. He was born November 
14, 1923, in Johnson County, the 
son of Alber and Bertha Rice. He is 
survived by his wife, June Baxter 
Rice; one son, Stephen Harold Rice 
of Clifton, Virginia; two daughters, 
Patricia Ann Rice of Edmonds, 
Washington and Catherine June 
Mattingly of Jeffersontown; one 
brother, Arnold Lee Rice of Dayton, 
Ohio and three grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held Sunday, 
June 9, at Liberty Baptist Church in 
Denver with Merle Little officiating. 
Burial was at Highland Memorial Park 
in Staffordsville.
