FOREST RICE SERVICES HELD AT ASA SUNDAY FOR FOREST RICE Funeral services were held Sunday, June 24, at 3:30 p. m., for Forest Rice, 57, who died at 6:00 p. m., Friday, June 22, after an illness of several months. The services, which were held at the home in Asa, Ky., were conducted by Rev. Millard O'Bryan. Songs were sung by the Tom's Creek Quartet. A life-long resident of Johnson County, he was the son of Minta Rice and the late Y. B. Rice. His first wife, Daisy Conley, preceded him in death. He was later married to Amba Dotson Rice, who survives him. He is also survived by one son from his first marriage, Ellis Rice, of Glasgow, Ky. Interment was in the family cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD 6-28-1951
