Erma Rice

Erma Rice, 92, of Columbia, died on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Cumberland 
County Hospital Emergency Room in Burkesville, Ky. after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late William and Rosaline Thomas Humphress of 
Adair County, Ky., and was a member of Plum Point Baptist Church and a 
homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, G.T. "Tom" Rice of Columbia; two sons, George 
Randall Rice and Billy Rice, both of Columbia; three grandchildren, William 
Allen Rice, Michael Rice and Jo Allison Rice; and one step-grandchild.

Funeral was at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral 
Home in Columbia with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Lewis Haynes 
and the Rev. Jim Goff officiated.

Pallbearers were Wyman Rice, George Rice Jr., Michael Rice, Mark Rice, James 
Rice and Bill Rice.
