Dorothy Rice 

MOUND CITY, Ill.--Services for Dorothy S. Rice, 62, of Mound 
City will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barkett Funeral Home in 
Mound City. The Rev. Bill Polley will officiate, with burial 
in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds. 
She died at 1 p.m. Friday at Meridian Manor Nursing Home in 
Mounds. 

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mound City. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Rice of Mound City; 
three sons, James Ray Butler of Pell City, Ala., Kevin Drew 
Butler of Mound City, and Cory Rice of Cairo; two daughters, 
Kim Bone of Mound City and Christina Cooper of Roseville, Calif.; 
two sisters, Carolyn Cline of Anna and Julie Suiter of Kentucky; 
a brother, Everett Helms of Cairo; 10 grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Her 
parents were Kenneth and Flossie Glenn Helms. 

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
