RICE, David J. Age 58, of Hazard, formerly of Floyd County, died 
Wednesday, March 17, 1999, in the Hazard Appalachian Regional 
Hospital. He was bom April 24, 1940, s/o Marvin Rice and Mary Emma 
Layne Rice. He is survived by two brothers, Donald Ray Rice and 
Morris Daniel Rice, both of Flat Gap; three sisters, Alva Mae 
Ousley of Martin, Ollie Faye Carpenter of Mt. Sterling, and Betty 
Kay Kramer ofLexington Burial was in the Hicks Cemetery.
