Crate Rice, 101, of Hagerhill, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, at his home.

He was born Aug. 28, 1901, in Johnson County.

His wife, June Rice, preceded him in death.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Paintsville Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in Meade Cemetery in Staffordsville.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
