BONNIE RICE

Bonnie Pyles Rice, 89, of Howell Street in Campbellsville, Ky., 
died on Monday, March 11, 2002, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of the late James B. Pyles and Retta May Bryant Pyles, 
she was born on Jan. 15, 1913, in Adair County, Ky., and was a 
retired sales clerk.

She was married to Delbert Rice on April 27, 1934, who preceded 
her in death on Jan. 12, 2001.

Survivors include three sisters and five brothers, Lyla G. Pyles, 
Clara Jones, Aaron Pyles and James Pyles, all of Campbellsville, 
Altha Burton, Rollin Pyles and Walter A. Pyles, all of Columbia, 
and Howard Pyles of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, 
Finis Pyles, Kenneth Pyles, Hobert R. Pyles, Vitus D. Pyles, Robert 
Pyles and Clarice Pyles.

Funeral was at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 13 at Parrott & Ramsey 
Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial 
Gardens. Pastor Clifton Hale officiated.

Pallbearers were Wayne Burton, Ben Jones, D.R. Jones, Ernie Pyles, 
Kenny Pyles and Randall Pyles.

Honorary pallbearers were Jim Bogus, Timmy Dixon, Brett Pyles and 
Sonny Pyles.
